Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital is pleased to welcome obstetrician/gynecologist Aliyya Childs, M.D., to Houston Methodist Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates at Sugar Land. She recently began seeing in Medical Office Building 2 on the Houston Methodist Sugar Land campus.

 

Childs specializes in abnormal uterine bleeding, adolescent and adult gynecology, comprehensive obstetrical care, contraception and family planning, health education, minimally invasive and robotic gynecologic surgeries, menopausal care, pelvic pain, uterine fibroid management, and well-women exams.

 

“I prioritize connecting with my patients to diligently determine their healthcare concerns,” said Childs. “Through shared decision making, I partner with my patients to develop personalized, evidence-based care plans. My practice is grounded in compassion and cultural competency to ensure every patient receives quality, equitable care.”

Childs earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan. She completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Kaiser Permanente Oakland in Oakland, California.
