Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital welcomes cardiologist Wafi A. Momin, D.O., FACC

Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital is pleased to welcome cardiologist Wafi A. Momin, D.O., to Houston Methodist Cardiology Associates at Sugar Land. Dr. Momin has recently begun seeing patients.

 

Momin treats a wide range of conditions, including carotid artery disease, chest pain, cholesterol disorders, congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, diagnostic cardiac catheterization, echocardiography, hypertension, nuclear cardiology, palpitations/arrhythmias, peripheral vascular disease, prevention cardiology, stress testing, structural heart disease and valvular heart disease. He is board-certified in cardiology, internal medicine, and echocardiography.

 

“I look forward to joining Houston Methodist Cardiology Associates at Sugar Land,” said Momin. “I am excited to be home in Sugar Land, where I was raised to provide personalized care and help combat heart disease in my hometown.”

 

Momin earned his medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. He completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas, and a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, Texas. Momin is fluent in Hindi, Urdu, and Gujarati.
