Houston Methodist Primary Care Group is pleased to welcome Dr. Katherine Herring, who is serving patients at 2060 Space Park Dr., Medical Office Building 1, Suite 302, Houston, Texas, 77058.

Herring is a board-certified family medicine physician whose clinical expertise is in treating and managing acute and chronic medical needs, including diabetes, allergies, asthma, high blood pressure, and heart disease. She offers complete physicals, and has a special interest in preventive care and wellness, from women’s and geriatric health to weight loss.

“Preventing disease and promoting overall health and well-being is important to me,” Herring said. “I practice holistic care using evidence-based medicine, and emphasize shared decision-making with all my patients to help them maintain their quality of life and reach their health goals.”

Herring attended medical school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and completed her residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. A wife, mother of two, and “lover of nature,” she enjoys spending her free time being active outdoors – camping, hiking, backpacking and running.
