Houston Methodist Primary Care Group is pleased to welcome Monique Au, M.D., and Pamela M. Ayala, M.D., who will be serving patients in Fort Bend County.

Au is a board-certified family medicine physician providing acute and chronic care to patients of all ages. Au graduated from Texas A&M College of Medicine in Bryan, Texas and completed her family medicine residency at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Round Rock, Texas.

Au is committed to partnering with patients to help them achieve their health goals. She offers a broad range of clinical expertise including preventive care, complete physicals, health screenings, high blood pressure and other minor procedures. “My goal is to provide comprehensive care to each patient and maintain an open line of communication,” Au said.

As a board-certified family medicine provider, Ayala specializes in adult and children’s health, including diabetes management, high blood pressure, skin conditions and weight loss management.

She also offers wellness exams and complete physicals. Ayala earned her medical degree from McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston, Texas, and then completed her residency in family medicine at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.

“After overcoming obesity in my adolescence, I felt a calling to medicine,” Ayala said. “I bring both knowledge and personal experience into the exam room and look forward to providing long-term care to my patients.”
