Following ten months of construction, Tomball Regional Medical Center (TRMC) has completed its $4.5 million emergency room expansion and modernization project. The newly-renovated Emergency Department was celebrated recently with a ribbon-cutting ceremony presented by the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce.
With a total of 25 private rooms, two dedicated trauma rooms and an expanded guest lobby, the emergency center was designed with maximum efficiency in mind. The addition of more than 3,100 square feet includes an expanded parking lot as well as strategically designed space that supports improved work and patient flow.
“Our priority is to provide patients with high-quality emergency care as quickly and efficiently as we can,” said Malissa Gonzalez, Emergency Department Director. “The renovated emergency center makes it possible for our medical staff to see more patients and help reduce overall visit time.”
